Gino's Apizza - Waterbury

All due respect to Mr. Ellis, Gino's Apizza is a 50 year tradition of fine authentic Italian Pizza. Most customers have been coming since childhood. Folks away from the area come back to visit family friends 1st, then go to Gino's reliving old memories tasting the kind of pizza not found anywhere else in the Country. Gino's offers a wide variety of pizzas, stuffed breads, calzones Old Fashioned Sicilian Style Pizza. People now living in the area coming from N.Y. often say, Gino's pizza is the closest to New York style pizza. Gino's has a very large African American clientele as well as Hispanic, Italian, German, Albanian Irish just to name a few. The management staff are very attentive to all their customers needs and strive towards their leaving happy. On the off chance a mistake is made, they bend over backwards to resolve any situation. If Gino's Apizza were guilty of poor service or poor quality food, I doubt that they would have remained open for 50 years..., and still counting.

Best Pizza in CT. Always fresh slices and makes special slices not many others make. Meatball is best also. Very Friendly guy at counter. Wish they would open a Hartford CT restaurant!

Gino's has delicious food. Service is great! They're polite and have speedy delivery. I would recommend them.
