For our entrees we ordered pasta with fresh clam (plenty of little necksin shells) sauce and lasagna. (Very homemade). Both were fabulous. The homemade chicken soup was to die for with parmesan cheese. RIGHT IN OUR TOWN...Lovely.
First time here on 7-9-2022 and we enjoyed our meals a lot which were extra generous portions and the entree prices were totally sincere despite inflation everywhere. Going to most other restaurants for the same comparable menu items you would probably pay 5-10 dollars more per entree. With this said all meals come with bruschetta, a soup or a salad plus two sides of many options to choose from. Drinks and cocktails we had were perfectly made. To complete the experience they had a live band playing at 7:00 pm this Saturday evening that played dinner type music of an array of 70 's, 80 's, 90 's music related to jazz, folk, pop, rock and soft rock. The lead female singer sounded 100% exactly like Celine Dion as she aced My heart will go on from the movie Titanic . The male in the band also aced lead signing on Copacabana . This place is a must return on our agenda! Turns out I just literally realized I know of the owner from high school as my wife told her sister about our experience and she mentioned that I and her husband know him so I will have to acknowledge and ask for Giovanni Rubano aka John Rubano as we knew him by.
A great find. Food was delicious and portions were generous. We had a great surprise of live music. Definitely will be going back!!
If you haven 't tried this restaurant- what are you waiting for!???? This smaller restaurant is very inviting and the food is worth every penny. I had the eggplant parmigiana and I swear they must have someone 's Italian grandma back in the kitchen making this dish. It was so light on the tongue, it almost melted in my mouth. My husband had the special sea bass which was also very delicious with shrimp wrapped in prosciutto- amazing!!! The other dishes at our table, rib eye steak cooked to perfection) and chicken Marsala were equally enjoyed as well. We loved the complimentary bruschetta finished with balsamic glaze while we waited for our dinner. A generous touch that other restaurants are beginning to skimp on or eliminate altogether. The service was friendly with a job well done. I 've only been here once but sure to go back again!!!
I got wings for an app and they were all purple and bleedy on the inside, real stringy,, gotta fry them a little longer than that, ate what I could of 4 outta 6. my buddy got the scallops and risotto , the scallops tasted like the plastic bag they were frozen inside with a tinge of rancid, definitely ruined the entire ginormous bed of risotto that was soo bland with the consistency of runny eggs, my entre was the fettuccini and it was all right like it was good and all cuz the chicken and peppers were decent but the sauce was really watery, gotta boil off most of it to get a proper thick sauce outta the heavy cream. Between the wings and the fatty sauce I just made it to the bathroom in time, 40 minutes later
