Great place to go for a Sunday meal! Love the people so much. The Noble Hotel is also a Bed and Breakfast and the rooms are AWESOME!!!! You've got to see this place when you're in Watonga
As that we were in the area, we were looking at Yelp to find a place for lunch. We say Quyen W. 's review and decided to stop in. When we went in a sign directed us to the back dining room, and we walked back and were told to have a seat anywhere. After choose a table in the corner, we observed the menu which was a 3 X 4 piece of paper at each chair. The menu for lunch listed 3 entree 's that came with a roll and mashed potatoes and a choice of green beans or corn. So we both chose the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, green beans and roll. Sounds dull doesn 't it? Well we thought so and were fantastically pleased to find out that the chicken fried steak was hand breaded and tasted great, not food service pre made frozen stuff here! The mashed potatoes were made from scratch and the green beans were as well. The roll was also made from scratch and you could tell it was not a mix. For dessert homemade chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting. All this for $9.98! This was one of the best home cooked meals Tiffany and I have had in a long time! It was like sitting at your grandmothers kitchen table and her heaping goodness on your plate! We were just blown away at how good the food was! So go here and enjoy a meal as good as grandma would have made, it 's worth the trip!
Great Comfort Food!. Stopped by with a group of friends on the way home from Roman Nose and had a great chicken fry dinner! The service was excellent and the atmosphere was cozy.
It 's just a travesty this place ain 't been reviewed on Yelp! The Nobel House is a historical landmark and has some of the best home cooking for miles around. The interior is well preserved and maintains the original ambiance, despite the few modern additions (the HDTVs don 't really help, but this is a small town! . I went with a sizable group. Several has BBQ which was declared ok . I 'd suggest go for the home cooking options. The Chicken Fried Steak was awesome, with great mashed potatoes and fresh yeast roll. I didn 't have room for the cherry pie, but my friend declared it absolutely delicious. A trip to Watonga is worth a trip just to visit this place. And while you are there, there is a great antique shop around the corner :
