Ferme Auberge Du Grand Ballon

We stopped here again for lunch and enjoyed the occasion with the magnificent view over the Rhine Valley to the Black Forest approx. 80 to 90 km away. the lunch was excellent and we managed to find a good place outside, despite the three...bus loads of tourists who were there at the same time.

My wife and I stayed at the ferme auberge du grand ballon for lunch and were very pleased to do this, as we last stayed there, there were no places available. my wife ordered the local goat cheese, served...warm, with an salat, and I had a piece of meat cake with an salat. both were first courses on the daily menu, but we, literally, could have eaten nothing else after. Hopefully we can go back there in the future.

Really, fantastic eating. I've never eaten so much. the service time was excellent even if we meet it at midday. all fresh, traditional meals. if I had a complaint: there was only too much food!

Nous avons réservé pour un dîner en famille, carte étoffée proposant des plats supplémentaires par rapport au traditionnel repas marcaire, qualité au rendez-vous...Service efficace et sympathique. En prime, en sortant du restaurant après un dîner convivial, vue magnifique sur la plaine d'Alsace de nuit, éclairée des lumières des villes et villages au loin.
