The Coconut Loft - Waveney

A beautiful little seaside spot! The art and novelty design gave the place a real character. The coffee selection was very good, with a wide variety of both hot and cold, as well as softdrinks and different varieties of tea. The scones and cakes looked tasty, but unfortunately we popped in for a quick warm drink avoid half an hour before closing and didn't have time to enjoy.

I can't believe I have walked past this restaurant so many times without giving it a second thought. I initially didn't like the look of it from the outside (a foolish way to judge), but with 45 minutes to spare, we decided to try it out for breakfast. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, made with high-quality ingredients. The coffee was exceptional, the staff were well-dressed, polite, and helpful. However, the highlight of the restaurant is its stunning setting, with beautiful artwork on display. One particular wall hanging by local artist Darren Breeze caught my eye. During renovation, a stairwell leading to historical baths was discovered and has since been turned into a glass table top, adding to the charm of the location. Additionally, the restaurant features books by local writers and cubicles made to resemble beach huts in Southwold, creating a truly beautiful atmosphere. Wonderful querky cafe. Fantastic art work on display for sale together with locally crafted jewellery and fabric goods. Lovely friendly staff and the most delicious pastries. Great location. Brilliant experience.

This restaurant is located just steps away from the seafront. You can enjoy a meal or grab a coffee inside a charming beach hut or a room adorned with local art and jewelry. The food is very affordable here.

The staff at this restaurant are extremely friendly and helpful, always willing to go above and beyond for their patrons. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and delicious. The tea rooms are very clean and well-maintained. They also have excellent baby changing facilities and provide baby wipes and nappy bags in case you run out. Additionally, there is a variety of lovely items available for purchase, such as pictures, jams, chutneys, and more.
