Feedback gevenWe were visiting in Tilford when we drove past this little shop and decided to support local. In response to the negative review posted previously, the elderly man was a bit slow but that is expected of someone in charge of the whole shop (cafe and Post Office). He was very friendly and helpful, given some patience and understanding. He made us feel very welcome and customised our food order for us. Food is freshly made from scratch, including burger patties. The snacks (onion bhaji and samosas) are best eaten warm. I have taken one star off because the price increase in 2023 has not been reflected on their price list. He did inform me of an increase and agreed that the signboard should be updated, so I hope action is taken soon.
Excellent little cafe and post office offering some fresh baked Cornish pasties and other samosa’s plus other pastries
I went to this restaurant to send a package, as they have a post office inside. The elderly man who was supposed to be working at the post office seemed very irritated to leave his chair by the window. He was rude and unwilling to help me. I will not be returning to this place again.
We really do enjoy our Friday night takeaway curry and the samosas during the week are really tasty.
We ordered the Friday night curry while house sitting in Tilford. Well worth it. Had the beet curry and the chicken curry, both with fried rice and other side dishes. Yummy!
