Feedback gevenI thought I'd treat myself to a great meal today. I had heard so many wonderful things about Hotrods House of BBq in Waynesburg. So I left. First, while you parked on the undamaged parking lot above the street, an unattended, parked Chevy Avalanche began to slide me through the lot. Luckily it stopped and I went to the street to park. I went to the restaurant, sat at the bar and ordered the BBQ Sampler, who replaced the chicken wings for the chicken breast. My order came in a contemporary fashion and I was gone on my way home to enjoy my feast. WELL. I opened and won my ToGo container. 2 small pieces of spare rib, 4 tiny slices of skinless boneless chicken breast and NO BRISKET. My pages were complete. So, extremely frustrated at my first experience there I called to complain. I have to talk to Stephanie. I don't know who didn't seem to believe that my order was part of meat. She never apologized and insulted for the mistake in my order when I questioned the portion sizes. Definitely a person who could use interpersonal/business management classes. I will never understand why someone in customer service would speak the way they spoke. She talked to me as if I was lying about my missing meat and insulted when I questioned the portion sizes when I said I got only 4 slices of chest as my wing replacement.
I worked at Hot Rods and the owners are awfully rude and unprofessional. They find it appropriate to drink on the job and treat their employees like dirt. You have no problem stealing server tips and meeting employees and making sexual progress. The food is okay, but it is not worth eating when your service is slow and the owners will be rude. Honestly, I would never go there, and I suggest someone goes there.
The food is mediocre, and the service is horrible and extremely slow. At one time, the food was a lot better, but as they're grown, it's taken a drastic downhill slide. The servers are forgetful, and the place is understaffed. The owner is rude to all but a select few of his customers. I used to eat here a lot, but I'm not going back again.
We came with 10 people and the OWNER informed us that we would have to sit apart. When we asked if we could wait to sit together, the OWNER told us he didn't care what we did. He did it with attitude. He also uses FOWL FOWL language and tells the waitresses who to be nice to and who isn't worth it.
The service was really bad. The food was okay, but it was cold. Will try again in a few months.
