But when it 's also crispy on the outside, you hit a gem. This place is a gem. The quality was great even on a full house Father days night. I had lunch there a few times, its lunch menu is nice. Very good beef brisket, on curry and wonton noodle. Their dishes are well done. Their fried noodle, whether it 's Canton chow mein or other kinds, I remember praising it everytime, on how the crispy-to-sauce ratio has always been on spot. These small details illustrate the extra miles the kitchen and owners have been going. Cons: took 5 requests to get our water on busy father 's day. Main waitress complained 'to herself ' outloud in front of us about how messy we made the floor
Friendly staff, good food, quick service. Ordered from the menu where you can choose any 3 dishes and it comes with soup. The soup was a nice corn and lotus root clear broth. For the dishes we got garlic sir fried Bok Choy, black pepper beef, and salty fish, chicken with tofu. Everything was quite tasty and the restaurant is big enough with spaced out tables to feel safe from other diners.
All the food in this restaurant is delicious, my favourite place for dinner or take out. Price is reasonable, service is good. They are busy all the time so remember to call ahead to book a table if you want to dine in. Even their dessert is so good.
The portion is quite big for two of us. I planned to order 3 dishes but the lady recommended just 2 first if I dont want any leftover. This restaurant is suitable for family reunion
It's been a while since I've been to a dine in restaurant with my family. My parents are regulars here so I know for sure the food is good. We went for lunch on a Tuesday, the last day before the new restrictions kicked in (no more indoor dining for the next three weeks). There were only 2 tables occupied with patrons, so we were seated quite a ways away from them. The lunch specials that we ordered came with hot drinks and between the 4 adults and 2 young kids, we ordered... Curry beef brisket with white rice this is definitely my favourite. The spices are just right, not too spicy or overpowering, lots of thick meaty chunks of brisket with a few pieces of potato. There's plenty of sauce to lather all over the white rice. Deep fried fish fillet and bitter melon over chow mein this dish has a nice sauce served over super crunchy chow mein noodles. My 4yo son loves the boneless fish fillet and the noodles were a hit with everyone. The bitter melon isn't for everyone, but my mom and dad enjoyed it. Beef with Chinese broccoli over flat rice noodle lots of beef slices in this dish and again, the gravy was the star of the dish. It goes perfectly with the rice noodle. Fried rice with olives I don't like olives, neither does my husband or daughter, yet they both seem to really enjoy this dish. I didn't try it myself so I cannot comment on it. This is also my parents' favourite dish, so if you like olives, go for it! And of course, we still packed away an entire takeout container of food. The waiter/owner is friendly and kind (maybe because my parents are regulars) and especially during these trying times, do support local businesses such as this one! This Yelp page for this restaurant/location has been up for a few years, but I'm pretty sure Trithis has only been in business for about 2 year.
