I went back recently for the first time since the reno and wow what a sad change of scenery. There 's only I 'd say 6-10 seats in the entire cafe, all facing the window. So gone are the communal tablesThey reduced the space significantly to the point where lining up means blocking those sitting opposite from the window. That must be one heck of a back room space for employees now that it 's taking up more than half the cafe spaceThe only upside is that they changed the lighting so it 's now brighterStarbucks clearly missed the mark on this reno. I understand what they 're trying to do, they want to increase profitability by creating a grab and go experience. Lounging around means that no one is buying. What they 've failed to understand was that Starbucks used to pride itself on creating a second home , that 's why they had comfortable seating arrangements like couches during their previous iteration. Also people who sat and did work on their laptops purchased more the longer they lounged, so if you 're working in a cafe you 'll buy a sandwich for lunch or another coffee because you 're getting work done in a space that you actually like to work inNow they don 't want you to be comfortable, they want you to buy a coffee and then leave. Limited seating is clearly there because they need to have something that 's not so blatant as buy a coffee and then leaveThey forgot why people went to Starbucks to begin with and most importantly, why they loved this locationOh well, the market will speak or itself if it hasn 't already. People will just go elsewhere and I say good on them, Starbucks abandoned their customer experience so customers should abandon themThat being said, I had some fond memories of that space, especially as a barista for four years at that location. They can 't take those away from me. So thank you to the regular customers who I miss seeing. For their patronage and for the experience that they created for me when I used to work there. I hope that they find another cafe that will create a more welcoming experience. Archtop Cafe is a good one
Thisbwas once a great place to have business and friends gather for food and work... It has lost its charm and appeal and become the big box chain that doesn't care about its customers.. VERY DISSAPOINTED.. There are other coffee shops in Port Credit that will now not only recieve my business but a LOT of others that have expressed thier frustrations with the new layout.

Fast and efficient customer service at this location.
I must say, I am extremely disappointed with the recent renovation of my favorite Starbucks location. The modern look they've tried to implement is nothing short of terrible and has completely stripped away the charm that used to make this place so special.Back in my high school days, this Starbucks was our go-to spot to hang out, socialize, and work on school projects together. We would spend hours chatting, laughing, and sipping on our coffees, often going back for a second cup because we loved the cozy ambiance and comfortable seating. Now, as a returning university student, I was really looking forward to revisiting this nostalgic place and reliving those old memories. But my excitement turned to bitter disappointment the moment I stepped inside. Gone are the spacious seating areas that made this location perfect for studying and catching up with friends.I cannot express how let down I feel by this ill-advised renovation. I am left with no choice but to find a different location for my coffee fix. If I wanted a quick grab-and-go experience, I'd just visit a drive-through location instead. I hate to say this but some people aren’t very bright when it comes to business.
