The choice fell on the Omero. On the one hand, because it is really around the corner, on the other hand, because there were already a few promising reviews. With the Navi, the Porthofplatz was quickly found and due to the large parking lot located directly in front of the restaurant no larger foot marches were necessary. When you enter the restaurant you are practically standing right in front of the counter. There are a number of tables with curved benches, rather in a bar than in a restaurant. To the left around the corner there are other tables, as well as a passage to a covered terrace. The restaurant had only opened this day shortly before and we were the first customers at that time. Over the next hour, however, the restaurant filled very quickly and was filled as we broke up well half. Service Immediately entering the restaurant we were greeted by a middle-aged man in civilian clothing from which I accept that he is the boss of the house is very friendly. While we were thinking where we wanted to sit, the terrace was recommended, which we had not seen before. We were quickly convinced by the cozy presentation and decided to have a table in the corner. Shortly after we sat the menus, including a depositor, were served with today's daily offers. After a small waiting period, the boss came back and asked the orders. We chose: Lasagne with calfsbolognese 10, € Pizza Paesana with tuna and red onions 6,50 € Tagliolini with plums and cattle fillet tips 12,90 € Organic salmon fillet with plums 16,90 € Add to this: 2 Cola and 1 Spezi je 0,3l 2,20 € 1 alcohol-free wheat table 4, € A few time after our order has been asked, the beverages To our surprise, after a few minutes, we were brought to the table a plate of freshly cut Mortadella with the note that it would be particularly good with bread. I had not had such a nice attention so far. Now the place gradually filled. In the way that the boss or the now additionally present female service welcomed the guests, it is assumed that about half of the guests are regular visitors to this place. I noticed particularly positively that although the regular guests are handled very carefully, they are not neglected with the other guests. I hope so. For a great praise from me. We had to wait a little for our food, but the short waiting period was to be taken into account by the bread that had been served in advance with the various additions. After the food was with us for a while and we started eating, we were asked again if everything was okay. After dinner it then took a little before the empty plates with the new question whether it tasted have cleared. Our question of what there would be as a dessert was referred to the card and brought to the table to us the same, beaten up on the Dessert side. There was also unquestioned information that the desserts would also like to be small portions. Also a great praise for it. Our children opted for: Cassata Siciliana 8,50 € The parents each ordered an espresso á 2,30 € Also the desserts and the espressi came after a pleasant waiting period. When we finally paid, we were asked again whether we were satisfied with everything. Before we could say something to adults, our youngster burst out with the phrase: “That was the best food I ever had in a restaurant.” At least I believe that today the service really likes to get 5 stars from me. The food bread with gifts:The Bread that was brought to the table before eating is already worth mentioning. Obviously even baked, wonderfully loose, not too dry and salted enough. My wife, who for several years has baked our bread herself, nodd with his head. There were also green olives in small bowls, a yogurt herbal dip and tomato salad. Later, as mentioned above, a plate with Mortadella came. The olives were very tasty, not cheap glassware. The yogurt herbal dip should have been salted a little more, but otherwise nice creamy and fresh. The tomato salad of finely diced tomatoes, made with olive oil, salt, pepper and a few herbs, was the perfect companion to the delicious bread. Actually a very nice Bruscetta kit. At the Mortadella I was initially skeptical, as I only knew it from the past as a shopkeeper from the local supermarket. This one was extremely good. Softly cut, with fine bacon pieces and pistachios. If I hadn't been so happy about the main dish, I'd rather have cleaned the sausage completely. Lasagne with Kalbsbolognese:The Lasagne was the choice of our youngest. When the plate came to the table, I was hoping for an early saturation of the son, but was unfortunately disappointed. There were two pieces of lasagna covered with the fragrant sauce on the plate and covered with some coarse parmesan tops. The noodles were with pleasant light bite, the sauce had a perfect fleshy aroma and was of a beautiful creaminess. Unfortunately, Junior just let me try once. There was nothing left. Pizza Paesana with tuna and red onions The pizza, the choice of the larger son, was also a bit small at first glance, but was completely sufficient. At the pizza there was the only little manko of this food. The perfectly round form betrayed: it was baked in a pizza form. The dough was a bit too thick, but without being diligent. The floor was crispy and loose. Tastefully also very delicious. The pizza was evenly well covered. The whole thing was well seasoned and liked to be eaten. Tagliolini with seedlings and rind fillet tips: My wife's main dish was nice to try more than once. The very good noodles were optimally cooked, with beautiful bite. The fillet tips were fried very briefly and were then allowed to move in the sauce. So they had light roasting sites without too much to cook. The pifferlings nicely roasted and all together in a wonderfully creamy sauce, which blends perfectly with the noodles and narrowed. In addition, coarse planing chips were distributed from Parmesan. Biolachs mit Pfifferlingen:I ordered this court with the thought that it had been enough for this year. Well, if I knew I'd get her that way again, I guess I'd order her again. On the plate were a quite large piece of salmon, some vegetables Romanesco, sugar chovies and carrots, a few potato pieces, as well as a generous portion of pifferlings distributed over the salmon still provided with the skin. The salmon was almost perfect but a little too fried. It tasted very aromatic, not daring at all, and was still slightly glazed unfortunately a little too little. The vegetables and the potatoes were handcrafted well, but besides fish and pifferlings they only played the statist role. The mushrooms were finally well roasted here, not only warmed. That is, they had light redness without losing their own aroma. A perfect combination with the salmon. Apple Sorbet, Cassata, Espresso: The Sorbet 2 large balls was served in a high bronze cell. It tasted like real apples, not apple flavour. The ice crystals were very fine and there were still small apple pieces. To Cassata, I can't say if it was like a real Cassata, because I hadn't eaten such until then. A high cake piece Cassata was served together with fresh fruits and a vanilla sauce mirror. The Cassata was delicious creamy, without ice crystals with a few but very good pieces of candied fruits. The espresso was just like him. Hot, strong, aromatic and with beautiful crema. I had to think about it for a long time and I'm really hard to do it, but I think I'd do this place wrong if I didn't give 5 stars here. I evaluate the PLV with 4 stars. The ambience If I had to evaluate only the terrace, I would also come to 5 stars. The division inside, and the right area, which is more reminiscent of a cocktail bar, do not create that. That's how I get to 3.5 stars. Cleanliness All Picobello, also the toilets. 5 stars
Located in the romantic town of Werden, Da Omero surprised us with home-made pasta, amazing fish- and meat dishes, friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. Everything is fresh here and of amazing quality. The town of Werden (part of Essen) is very well preserved with...More

So so, one of the best Italians in the ruhr area (yes. [1] ... so I always don't know who tries to make statistics and other sources, but also here it will be right. after a rather unhindered outer you feel in the suddenly rebellious and pleasant interior. especially the akkurat furnished tables fall into the eye immediately and which comes here in the warm season, also finds a very beautiful summer garden. the menu (in the global network: [2] is nice and tasty short the selection is still difficult for me. by saying that more often the so-called "better kreise" come here, I was surprised by the trips expected with it more than moderate! so a journey from further to is quite appropriate. even if you drink only one blackmailer. ï ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄
The Italian restaurant is really nice and the services was very friendly. The dinner was convenient. The prices would be ok if the food would meet expectations. The side dishes were quite boring compared to the standard they chef wants to meet.
