We recently visited here for our first time and went with people that had been here once before and raved about how good it was. We made 5PM reservations on a Wednesday night and arrived by 5PM as we had somewhere to be by 6:30 that was right around the corner. We were asked if we wanted a booth or a table and we said wherever was fine. We were placed on the bar side where there are only two booths. We waited roughly 15 minutes before a waitress finally came to our table and took our drink order. Another couple was seated at the booth right behind ours several minutes after we arrived. After some time, the waitress returned and took the other tables order first even though we had been there longer and were waiting for her to come take our order. Dinner was served roughly 20-25 minutes after the order was placed. During this time, the waitress never came by to ask if we needed anything. Once dinner was brought out, the food was excellent! After finishing our food, we waited another 15 minutes with no sign of our waitress. We were able to flag her down and we politely asked if we could have our checks as we needed to get going since we had a 6:30 appointment. The waitress responded with an attitude asking if we needed one or two checks. She then picked up our cards and the table behind ours. She then returned and threw down the books with our cards on our table and the table behind ours without saying anything. On top of the attitude once again, we weren't even given the correct card back and had to switch with the table behind us. The positive from this experience was the food was good. The negative was the attitude from our waitress, and not expecting for dinner to take an hour and a half on a Wednesday evening. I understand that some people have bad days, but it did not make for a pleasant dinner experience. We may be back as we like to support local business and since the food was good. Yum! We came in on a Saturday for lunch. The host was doing it all. Friendly, changing out buffet dishes, cleaning tables. We decided to do the buffet and thought it was a good variety with quality dishes. The pizza wasn’t as hot as I’d hoped, but the flavor was good. The penne pasta with a cream sauce was super tasty. My husband loved the gyro lamb meat. Spiced well and had crispy edges. I had the beef and it was also good. My favorite had to be the garlic knots. Could have just eaten those! Overall a tasty meal and we’d definitely come back. Our late afternoon meal was very good. I ordered the veal parm. Tina ordered the Stromboli. Both were properly prepared. We took home some of the leftovers. I highly recommend this place. I'll be going back for some Greek food Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We really used to like this place. Being in the service industry for 23 years has made me a little more critical about how you are treated as a patron. We ordered a entree, kids dish and an appetizer. My wife only wanted a side of spaghetti and was going to eat some of my 3 meat meal. The waitress told us that it was not possible to order a side of pasta without ordering another entree. The menu has sides with prices listed on the back. When I stated that the menu has sides with prices on the back and asked again for the third time why I couldn’t just have a side of pasta for my wife she said “the kitchen don’t like to do that , so no” .. I mean . We ordered a full entree and wasted three quarters of it because “the kitchen don’t like to do that”. Perhaps you should print in bold letters above the “sides” on the back: You can only have a side if you order an entree , even though there are prices listed for the sides, you can’t order one because “the kitchen don’t like to do” Lamb was good, fettuccine was a small portion for the price and mid.
