Thorncombe Cafe - West Dorset

If you are in the area this village shop and cafe are a great find. the cafe has wifi and great coffee,hot chocolate and of course home made cakes yummy ! The shop has a very good mix of basics at prices to match supermarkets and also stocks fruit, veg, ice cream etc. Lots of reasons to go there it is also opposite the lovely village church and is on good walking paths.

Beautiful warm reception by all volunteers when we visited the jubilee trail. large coffee in small caffe and a good selection of local ales to travel on our trip. well stocked, bright and cheerful shop, highly recommended! martin

Great bike stop. if forde abbey had turned away from the abtei, don't go there if you are a cyclist, you are no longer welcome unless you pay an entry fee. we rocked 10 minutes before closing time, but no worries, we were made to feel w welcome and a great sitting outside the sun on a quiet village road, parfait, we will return!

Fab community shop. we sat outside for coffee and an excellent Chelsea beung (that was great enough for 2 of us! with kisses and a deck! friendly and we will be worth a visit!

Excellent product range, comfortable seating area for refreshments and a very warm welcome.
