This is a fantastic historical site at which we receive mixed service. The owner was on point, making sure when he was involved, we had more than top noch service. However after being seating and ordering our food we notice we never received cutlery and considering the prices (between $20-$50 per plate of food at this spot), they shouldn't have to be reminded. This was very disappointing and we could tell the services were rushed because the kitchen was about to close. When you're paying this much for food, service needs to match. Wish every one here was as dedicated as the owners. Parking: There was limited parking at the inn parking lot. However, we were able to find parking close by in another lot. Don't waste time looking for parking in their lot during busy hours!
Large portions salads were plenty large to share! Simply LOVELY guitar player kept the vibe great not too loud but oldies you love to hear. Tons of draft beer options. SEATING TIP: If you want more restaurant vibe, sit in the side room. If you want more bar vibe, sit in the front room. Short ribs were our favorite. Very accommodating to a gluten free member of our party!
Beautiful historic inn— clean, friendly service Charles was awesome !!Great to come “home” to after a long day at the mountain. Room with a fireplace to warm up, walk to tavern which is connected to inn, great dinner, live music, friendly bartenders AND a short walk back to your room. Complimentary breakfast made to order next day by Phil that is phenomenal.Dark, cozy, warm and historic eclectic atmosphere. A MUST try so New England.
