Very beautiful place. Food and drinks are delicious. Customer service is great
Definitely a place to see and be seen, it can feel a little pretentious but if you ignore that part, it's a great place! The food is a little expensive for what it is, but at least it's pretty good. The staff is often a little too on top of it, but they are attentive and friendly. The restaurant is quite beautiful and airy and makes for a fun night out with friends.
Our March 29th birthday luncheon for my wife, family and friends was an excellent first experience of Cavatina. Since we live and work nearby, we'll definitely make it another of our go-to places, and enthusiastically recommend it to others. The one part of our experience that could have been slightly improved, was the time it took to get food served. I suspect that may have been because we booked for a time when the main midday luncheon service was over, and some of the kitchen and front-of-house staff may have been on break. That said, all in all, a very good first impression. Thanks so much!
It was slightly confusing at first to enter the hotel and not see the restaurant name outside or in the lobby, but the staff was friendly and directed us with ease. Seems like a very nice hotel with a restaurant to match: extremely charming, open-air dining atmosphere! We went for lunch, but I imagine it’s quite romantic all lit up at night. I ordered the cauliflower steak (a vegetarian/gluten free/dairy free item on the menu) and expected it to be VERY tasty, considering it was a relatively high priced option…. Cavatina did NOT disappoint!!!! This was one of the tastiest, healthiest, and most satisfying dishes I’ve ever had! My absolute highest compliments to the chef who designed Cavatina’s cauliflower steak. I will return for years to come if it stays on the menu. It’s honestly THAT good. Highly recommend this spot as a hidden gem of WeHo.
