Tacodeli - West Lake Hills

We love doing the family meal plan because it's a great bang for our buck. We've done takeout here here a bunch of times and love it. We've tried all the chicken and vegetarian tacos and love them. The tacos here are like clean eats. The seasonal chicken tinga tacos were delicious! Those were during the month of Nov.

I recently tried out Austin-based chain Tacodeli for a quick weekday lunch. I ordered a couple tacos and was pleased with the tortillas which were fresh and warm. The chicken was nicely seasoned but overall the flavors of the tacos were just okay, not as vibrant or authentic-tasting as I'd hoped. The employees were friendly and attentive, checking on me frequently. While I appreciated the fast service and decent tacos, Tacodeli didn't completely win me over. The food lacked the bold Mexican flavors I crave. For a quick taco fix it satisfies, but it's not a destination-worthy Mexican restaurant. I'd give it an average 3 out of 5 stars.

Nice Vegetarian options. Not able to get this kind of Mexican food anywhere in USA. Their Dona Sauce is the best

Quality and all these different flavors not to mention margaritas... One of my local favorites.

Excellent tacos!! Interesting flavor combinations, and not so overfilled that they fall apart. Service can be variable and sometimes can be inexplicably slow. Standard fast food decor and generally kept pretty clean.
