Merlin's Bakery Cafe - West Lancashire

The restaurant always greets us warmly. The facilities are lovely and clean, with friendly staff who are especially fond of dogs. My two dogs start whimpering as we approach because they know they will be treated to their favorite sausages. The food is always freshly cooked and beautifully presented. And the cakes made by Jen are absolutely delicious.

I'm going to the coffee here two or three times a week. sometimes I stay, but usually I take a back to my office around the corner. if I stay in me, sometimes I will be tempted to a dead and jam! I was one of the first customers to review merlins when it opened several years ago under new management. Since then, the hands have changed again. jenny and their employees work really hard and they will never be freshly brewed or cooked eating everywhere. merlins is casual, unpretentious and really friendly. I had never had a lunch, but her breakfast is excellent in quality and worth. It is a great advantage for the business park where it is located and deserves to be protected by the growing industrial area around it.

Such a beautiful atmosphere with beautiful, tasty eating and a great selection of specialties. and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend their cake, often on Wednesday, and their chickenburgers on Monday! eat them in or take them away!

I will never buy anything from this restaurant again. Today, I ordered a ham salad sandwich that I planned to eat later. I specifically asked for no cucumber, but there were still some in the sandwich which I had to remove. The salad consisted of just a few slices of tomato and a few leaves. The piece of boiled ham was small and the bread was dry and stale. The server had a rude attitude as well. I will not be returning and will advise my friends to do the same. Even chain shops like Greggs make better sandwiches with more ingredients.

After a period of uncertainty, it's reassuring to see that this hidden gem is still open for business. The food quality is still excellent, and the service provided by the friendly young staff is top-notch. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, this restaurant continues to thrive. I feel confident in the safety measures in place, which surpass those of other cafes. Keep up the great work, I'll definitely be back for more.
