Cakes are usually delicious but I think the supplier must have changed as the Viennese whirls were like powder and had some weird pink filling. Very disappointing as it’s not cheap. Outside tables were filthy and we had to get napkins and clean a table and chairs before we sat down. Coffee is still the very best though.
Love this family run garden centre but unfortunately had the worst sandwich ever there It was tuna and was on thick white bread with a huge amount of should have said something as its not cheap . I am hoping this was a one of and the staff were busy as I enjoy my visits and always recommend
Delicious cheese burger best we've had for a long time. Then a cake with cuppa after.. Cake also fab... Could/should have shared as was large . Service excellent! Thank you.
I have been going to this cafe for many years. Due to moving away I haven’t been as much and was shocked at the prices. I asked for a sandwich for a baby aged 13 month but had to buy adult portion at over £6. Sandwich was like a door stopper! I was offered children’s lunch box but young girl at till wouldn’t change roll to sandwich ? I got soup and sandwich which all tasted great but poor presentation, again sandwiches were huge thick slices of bread not cut well. I asked for a medium coffee and again was shocked as I got a latte in a very small glass cup. Shame food is good but prices are shocking and disappointing that no accommodation could be done to change children’s food to something they could manage. I doubt I’ll be back as £34 for what we got was definitely day light robbery.
£7.95 for French toast which used to be an acceptable size so when I was presented with one 3x3 inch tiny bit of French toast with 4 rashers of bacon on top I was disgusted. Same price as full breakfast. Staff didn’t care when queried. That’s fine I’ll vote with my feet
