Trailside Restaurant Bar - West Newton

I visit trailside almost every time I head to camp. It has traded hands (ownership) several times and it only seems to get better every time I go. They have added an outside bar/seating area that is enclosed, updated the inside of the original building, and added a separate smokehouse. Tonight I had the crispy chicken salad with honey mustard dressing with a side of potato wedges. It was delicious! I ate it all up and there was plenty of it! I shared the potato wedges with my husband (it comes with 5 to an order). Shared meaning he ate 4 and I got one. He had the BBQ pork salad and it was also completely decimated. He also tends to smother food with dressings but he actually ate it without any, which is insanely rare. Everything was fairly priced and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. This is place is definitely worth visiting if you are in the area!

Ok, called Labor Day weekend on Sunday morning, I herd they are very strict with there kitchen closing policy. This very polite person said they stop serving 7:00/7:30 got there at 6:58 and the waitress said kitchen closed . 7:30?. This place has good food but horrific management . Went to the pine tree alway reliable .Will never go back again. . What the hell? I'm sure they will close at some point and we can only hope a real restaurant that wants to succeed will take there place.
