Trattoria Park Royal - West Van Canada

Decent place for Italian pasta i have been here a few times out server was quite good with the recommendations. Unfortunately i ordered a drink and it took nearly 30 minutes to arrive as if they forgot. And food also took quite a long time although it wasn't very busy. Got the chicken parmesan as per server's recommendation i have had better. Nice portion of chicken and but i would of preferred spaghetti instead of potatoes underneath. Broccoli was different but not what i would have expected on a traditional chicken Parm. I like how they are always having wine specials they do have a good list here. Also Tuesdays have half price pastas and wine ! That is a great deal! Nice atmosphere there's an upstairs rooftop seating area too but they should try and clean their windows as bird poop was visible close to our table and a lot of it. Next time I'll stick to the pastas they're quite good! And also pizza looked good. Linguini gamberi was very good!

We have been to this location (Park Royal) multiple times over the past 5 years, we also invite our international visitors all the time. I must say food is always delicious the same quality at all times, we often order the featured dishes. Out standing staff service, they care about you, very friendly.The vibe is very welcoming with a warm environment. when we have a group of people that requires privacy, we call to reserve the upstairs area.BIG Thank you to the owners, the supporting team the Chef. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I have been with my husband travelling around the world and highly recommending this amazing restaurant in all means, best food quality with great prices and the most their amazing staff from managers level to the hosts. We go often and every time we leave speechless and so happy. Great! I had the pan roasted halibut with milanese risotto.

Took some friends for dinner and was epically disappointed. Nice summer evening, sat on the terrace and as soon as we sat down we’re told last order were at 8 pm even though restaurant said they were open until 10pm. Also, was told appetizers and food would probably come at the same time. Along with this, there were nice running around the terrace while we were eating. The restaurant sent me a follow up email the next day asking how my experience was. I described everything above and was never contacted. Have eaten here multiple times in the past and it has gone down considerably. I only usually send positive reviews and recommendations yet this was offside, not to follow up on a customer service complaint like this. If you have a hoot about your customers, you would have followed up. Word of mouth travels fast in the area, especially with all of the high density developments. A complete waste of $125 dinner for 3.
