We called here 19 June 2022. West Yellowstone did not seem to have many vegan options. The bar that served the BM-Burger was closed so that we decided for the Red Lotus. What a find! I asked if they had vegan options and they assured us there was a lot. I had the coconut milk curry and nabeby had the eggplant in a garlic sauce. The parts were huge. We also have two portions of rice. Just a little more rice. You're doing Tofu, but we've decided for extra veg. Well worth a visit and would not hesitate to return if we were on the way back.
The restaurant was packed, but the service was great. We have all Tofu dishes (I asked about everything without egg, so I don't know what originally had). Non-vegan Dad happy with vegan stuff Updated from previous review on 2021-09-21
Must go for vegan vegetarians, they have a lot of options. I went twice and ordered many of my favorite Asian dishes Tofu seaweed soup eggplant in spicy garlic sauce Indian curry noodles vegetables in coconut curry sauce Tofu is bean sauce All of them too good It is a bit pricy, we paid 50 for a meal for two people
I thought the veggie options were quite delicious and I don't think it was only because my husband and I were pretty hungry after a full day in Yellowstone (my husband thinks the hunger helped bump our opinion and would have given 3 stars). I gave 4 stars because the veggies were fresh and spices were distinct but not overpowering. We had the flavorful curry vegetables with white rice, egg rolls (crispy but a tad greasy and undercooked) and veggie chowmein. I'm assuming it was vegetarian not vegan (probably contained eggs) but didn't ask a bunch of questions. Service was super fast (got all food within 5 minutes) and friendly, even with a pretty full restaurant. This is the slower season of course. Based on the limited options in town and meat-centric menus, this felt like a win.
