The food was not fresh. Seemed like maybe it was frozen food that was thawed and served. We tried butter chicken, saag paneer, Chana masala, jeera rice and naan. The naan is frozen naan that you can find in Indian groceries. The shape and taste gave it away. The saag paneer was inedible.. bitter and sour tasting. The rice was hardened. The Chana and butter chicken was just ok, wouldn't say it's tasty by any means. But the quality of the chicken seemed off also. Would advise to avoid this place.
Lol tawa roti was thin as a tissue paper not good for the price
Great naan and rice. Consistent quality and great portions. My lamb curry platter was perfect paired with my husband's chicken halal plate. Love that we can get both of our favorite cuisines in one place!! Yummy!!
Indian+Halal combo! This is a nice 2 in 1 restaurant mashup: Halal Chicken Rice, and Spice Grill. Halal spicy (mild, really) chicken platter above avg compared to typical NYC fare. Best halal chicken: King of Falafel Astoria. Lamb platter w paneer makhani Decent/worth a try. For better quality head to Hicksville IKEA area.
