Mulderbosch Vineyards - Western Cape

A beautiful place with good wine and one of the best pizzas in Cape Town. The last time I went to Mulderbosch the waiter added a tip of 20% to the bill (two people), which is unacceptable. I always add a tip to the bill, but you can't force people to pay an overinflated bill.

This is a great estate with fabulous views, a fantastic playground for the kids and 2 bocce courts for a relaxed game in between the wine tasting or food. Food was good, but service was terrible. Delays galore!

The restaurant has a beautiful view of the mini wetlands. Yummy pizza and average burger. I enjoyed a wine tasting at the bar, hosted by Steven, who was knowledgeable. Overall a good experience.

We came to have lunch at Muldersbosch, Friday afternoon, but they only serve lunch during the weekend. They offered us a cheese platter for two instead, which is enough for 4 people. Paired with a lovely white wine from Muldersbosch, it was an excellent choice. Their is a playground for children outside and they also do wine tastings during the week. Definitely worth a visit.
