This was my first time having Himalayan food. The food was decent, good flavor and adequate portion sizes (small appetites can share). The atmosphere was not that great. We stood inside for about 5 minutes before someone came out of the back and noticedus. The same song was played on repeat for the entire meal which did become tedious.
Staff is nice, but not very knowledgable. I asked what could be done as vegan and she started talking about chicken! Once I got that cleared up, the dish I ordered was quite tasty. However, I'm not sure I'd go back due to lingering worries about theirunderstanding of veganism. My dining companion ordered a soup combo thinking she'd get try 3 soups, but it's served with all 3soups in 1 bowl! WHAT? When pressed, the server refused to bring them in separate bowls, but she did remove them from the billand quickly brought an alternative, which I'm told was quite good.
My favorite Indian food around, there are some other that may compete in taste but they charge like 4-5$ more a dish. Always friendly staff too.
Buffet closed since the pandemic. We ordered lamb curry and chicken chow chow for lunch. We were the only customers. Food was just ok. Wouldn’t go back.
