Sushi Village - Westwood

The food is very good and we had sushi and hot food but the service leaves a lot to be desired. We were a group of 7 and it is clear groups greater than 5 will be charged 18% gratuity automatically. I do not know if this was just a coincidence, but everything we asked for was a wait... to place the order, for water, napkins, the check. Like I said the food is good but service should hold the same level of standard.

Maybe it’s because I went on a Monday but their food doesn’t really have flavor. Service was great restaurant was clean and had a nice quote atmosphere but the food was not very flavorful. I had the tempura noodle soup which was very bland. The sushi rice was sorta dry. The pieces you get are large which is great but without much flavor. Hope they do better in the future.

AYCE was much better on our previous visit. Rice overkill we had to pick away to get to fish etc I had a pile of rice on my plate afterwards. Service was decent but food could have been better.

Loved it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was delicious.

We went to this all you can eat Sushi place on the advice of my son. Appetizers which also are all you can eat, were tasty and the best of our dinner. Fair choice of sushi rolls, but the quality was sub par. Lots of rice on the rolls, so if you like rice this is your hangout. I got a yellow tail and scallions roll. The yellow tail was just edible with tons of rice. Rainbow roll without salmon was not worth eating. If you want quality this is not the place, in my opinion. If you want quantity at a decent price point this may be for you
