Delighted to have found this spot so small we’d overlooked it in the past. Was so excited to learn that they have a ton of GF options, including Oreos and pretzels for ice cream toppings, cones, hot dog buns, Mac cheese, and more. We only tried the ice cream at our first visit (first time I’ve had essentially an Oreo Blizzard in over a decade) but we will definitely be back for hot dogs, fries, and more.
This place is a gem! Great ice cream just across the street from the Charles River and a small park.
Maggie Milo's is finally open again!Located in South Natick next to Charles River Coffeehouse, Maggie Milo's is a small ice cream and hot dog shop with outside takeout windows and a couple patio tables next to the building. There is also more seating in the adjacent park. They offer several specialty Sabrett all beef hot dogs, fries, cold drinks, plus hard scoop ice cream cones cups), sundaes, frappes, banana boats. They also offer plant based hot dogs, gluten free rolls, gluten free ice cream and gluten free cones.Last year 2022), I tried several times stopping here, but the place was closed each time with no consistent hours, probably due to location and staffing. After hearing about set hours for the season, I stopped by Maggie Milo's for lunch on a chilly cloudy afternoon. I ordered the Hot Dog Plate $15.99 plus tax) which includes any two hot dogs, fries, and choice of can soda or bottled water. I chose a Turkey Chili Dog, and a Mac and Cheese Dog and my order was ready in about 13 minutes after ordering. The specialty hot dogs were both loaded with plenty of toppings in thick soft egg) hot dog rolls. The Chili Dog had shredded cheddar cheese, chopped raw onions, and a thick meaty turkey chili. The Mac and Cheese Dog had plenty of Annie's organic mac cheese and more shredded cheese. The fries baked) were semi thick and salted, but a bit lukewarm. I enjoyed the food with a Poland Spring bottled water.I will be sure to stop by for ice cream as the weather gets hotter outside.
Closed at about 7pm on Sunday the 26th.Hope it's not for good!
