Moe Joe's is the worst club I have ever been too. We had a group of 10 people and when we walked to the entrance, they put us in a separate line from the others who went in. The bouncers originally charged us $10 for cover and once we agreed, they immediately switched up on us and increased the cover to $15. It could have been because of our race (we had a majority Asian population), but either way this was extremely disrespectful as the bouncers were laughing and smiling amongst each other as well. The venue itself may not be bad (we never got to go inside), but the staff is unprofessional and rude. I will tell everyone to avoid this place.
Came in here when we had the urge to go out after a great day of snowboarding on a Saturday night. Surprised that there weren't that many people here. Thought it was interesting they had a mandatory coat check policy even though I saw people not check in their coats. The drinks were pretty good and not too expensive. My only thing is that the music could have been better. It was all house remixes of essentially every popular, that was a thing in like 2013. Would have been nicer to have more variety and to play original version of songs. This would have been a better option. The DJ was good mixing wise I can just assume the club told him to play that type of house remixed-pop music.
Great music, kind staff, and moved through the VIP line quickly. No issues with guest list. Will be back next year!
This club is skeezy in the good way. No one goes here sober. It's not that kind of spot. Moe Joe's is for when you're too drunk to care. They are the last club to kick you out (although I've seen it been done). The music always sucks (except for Reggae night). The bar tenders will never get you a drink even though it must have the biggest bar of any club in Whistler. If you (yes, YOU) ever pay cover for Joe's I'll kick you in the shins. Of course, if it's between Joe's or Bill's, I'd choose Joe's every time.
