A cute little breakfast spot fighting against the Uncle Bill behemoth. The French toast with ham and brie I got was excellent, though in theory could've used an apple? I might be wrong there but it felt like it was one ingredient from something really special for a unique take on the Monte Cristo... However my wife had the more standard platter of breakfast items. The pancakes were great, the eggs were good and sadly the sausages were terrible (flavorless and dense). On its own it is a great spot for breakfast and quite affordable. It's just fighting against Uncle Bill's for breakfast in this area and that is a tough fight, tying or losing on every metric listed. However I must mention the secret sauce of Sunz Up, the unique call that UB doesn't have: the Messes. Piled high messes of all the breakfast things with different flavor profiles. I would highly recommend these when you go, I had them when I went last time (a year ago). Wheelchair accessibility: If you're not outdoors a giant first step into the small diner will prove very difficult to get in. That is also the only way to the bathroom, so sadly it's kinda failing on this all around from an outsider's perspective.
The food was very good and our waiter was respectful and helpful!
Horrible the hostess was extremely rude on 8-20-24 at 10:53am. My husband asked her a question and she screams a rude response. We loved this place last year but I don’t recommend anymore….
Best breakfast place in Wildwood Crest. From the food to the service, you can’t go wrong. The wait staff is very friendly and cheerful, attentive but not overbearing. The food was great with a wide variety of breakfast foods made to order. You will not leave hungry! A lot of outside dinning allowing you to enjoy the morning air while drinking your bottomless cup of coffee and eating a nice egg sandwich, omelet or stack of pancakes.
