Tasted just like milk chocolate. I was thrilled to discover another vegan option in Wildwood!
The small restaurant may be a bit cramped, but they offer delicious vanilla and chocolate ice cream made with soy instead of dairy. I inquired about the ingredients and the worker kindly brought out the container for me to inspect. The chocolate flavor tasted similar to Hershey's syrup.
When I went into the shop, I asked the server for their dairy free options. They pointed to a few pints of ice cream which they believed to be “dairy free”. When I selected my ice cream, I asked to check it to ensure it did not contain animal products. Upon checking it, I saw that it outright contained dairy. I informed the workers of this, and they were unapologetic even after I told them I could not have dairy. I decided not to order anything, as I could not trust anything they offered. Sorry guys: .
They had a big banner on their building touting their “Homemade Bacon Ice Cream” so I wouldn’t even go in... my husband went to check it out, but was not impressed and didn’t end up getting anything!
