Panda Chinese - Williamsport

Great takeover from a family business. my children are crazy about the plain lo my, sweet and sour chicken and chicken and broccoli. my hubby loves the sesame chicken. panda is one of our local favorites!

I had such a big experience here. my usual chinese was closed, so I tried. I ordered online and it took about an hour to get our food. eating was good and hot delivered, but one of our meals was missing. I called them and they said they would bring the others to me, but it took almost an hour to get them. on a good note the delivery ruber was nice.

We ordered online from them at 6:40 pm and they said delivery would be 7:15pm. Keep in mind we were 1.2 miles away from them. It was after 8pm before anyone showed up with the food. I called at 7:30 the lady gave me attitude and said the guy was on his way. When 8pm came I tried calling twice and they wouldn't answer.. The food was hot but it was bland. Definitely not worth waiting that long for and then both of us had stomach aches after eating very little of it...... should've just went with burger king.

Compared to other similar establishments in the area, Panda's food quality is on the lower end of the spectrum. Not bad, but you'll probably want to look elsewhere if you have the option. I mostly order for delivery. They'll deliver farther than the website calls for if you order over the phone. They will call if they can't find your house. The delivery drivers have been nice enough, but don't expect them to knock if you have an outdoor porch, they often call and ask to meet you half-way. There have been numerous instances of not getting what I ordered when asking for delivery, whether it be outright missing items paid for or not getting the delivery at all. Worse yet, they make no effort to contact you when this happens. If you go to the nearby college, PCT, they offer a 10% discount, but only if you're not also taking advantage of one of their other listed specials.

I ordered my usual boneless spare rib combo with white rice, they gave combo with pork fried rice, ordered sweet n sour with white rice. No white rice in the order. Call to tell them the order is incorrect and the woman proceeds to yell at us over the phone telling us no you did not order that when I in fact did order that so I say I would like to speak to manager then the manager also proceeds to yell at us over the phone. Handled so unprofessionally. Especially on Easter. Will not be doing business here any longer.
