Wilmette Lou Malnati's Pizzeria

Although growing up I never tried Lou Malnati's, they have become my default go to for pizza over the years. The quality is impeccable across their pizza doughs, sauces, accoutrements, and salads; the deep dish pies are lusciously layered while the thin crust pies are lighter on cheese and sauce but still packed with flavor and baked perfectly. The salads are also very generous and a very good deal, heaped with innumerable toppings and their classic signature dressing.Three other aspects are their frozen pizzas, loyalty program, and community tie ins. Pre packed frozen pizzas are available in store, but also online for shipping anywhere, often with discount promotions available. There is also a points based loyalty program for free pizzas and sides at certain thresholds, and an app for ordering. They also have been a philanthropic organization in the surrounding communities for decades with outreach and charitable work.Lou Malnati's pizzas deep dish or thin are some of the best I have ever enjoyed, and I look forward to the next time we order.

Love this place! Their white pizza is a must try. Lou special is also never disappointing. The best!

What an awful experience ordering from this location. We ordered 2 thin crust pizzas and chicken wings at 4:30 pm. Estimated arrival was 5:25. They encouraged using their tracking device for delivery. At 5:15 it said driver was 3 minutes away. Then it changed to 10. Then 11. Then 8. Then 6. Then 11. At 5:45 I called the restaurant. They said the driver was waiting for our pizza to be ready and it be his first delivery and we would have in 10 minutes. Once again the tracker said on its way. 8 minutes, 5 minutes, 3 minutes, 0 minutes. Then went back to 10 minutes. At 6:15 I called the restaurant again. The same guy said he'd check if the driver left yet. At 6:25 he arrived. Food cold and said it was the kitchens fault. Who runs this place?

The quality of pizza was far from what I usually get on other locations. I thought to give a try since is near where I live but very disappointed ?Food: 1/5

Just Okay. The crust was dry. Beef sandwich was good. Pequods is much better. Service was good
