Hungry Horse, Chippenham - Wiltshire

I was disappointed by my experience at Hungry Horse tonight. After waiting for an hour, my food arrived with cold beans, a single sausage, fatty bacon, and an egg so runny I thought it was undercooked. On top of that, there was no toast, only hash browns that seemed to be made from instant mashed potatoes. Matthew, I left feeling unsatisfied and with a sour taste in my mouth. While I usually enjoy dining here, tonight's experience has made me rethink that.

I took my son to the Rowden Arms for his 10th birthday meal and the service was truly incredible. The food was hot and delicious, and we are always impressed whenever we visit.

I went to this restaurant for a family member's birthday and found the food to be delicious and served piping hot. However, there was an issue with only one staff member, Amy, who seemed to be overwhelmed with responsibilities. She was the only one working the bar, taking food orders, bringing dishes out from the kitchen, clearing tables, and making coffee. Despite being clearly overwhelmed, Amy did a fantastic job and should be commended for her hard work. The restaurant should consider reviewing their staffing policies as there was too much waiting time, which was not Amy's fault.

Food was amazing service was good. But considering its always so busy think its so wrong especially when big bookings are coming in that you only have one chef and one staff member expected to cope? But well done today to Amy and the chef they did us proud with smiley faces

Popped by on the off chance that they may have a table free as it was Mother's Day and yes they did. On the menu there is an extensive range of meals ranging from Baguettes to Steaks, Burgers to Vegetarian options and plenty more.. To order food and drinks you need to go to the bar and considering it was busy, our order was taken pretty quickly and the food was delivered around 30 minutes later. All 4 adult meals were ample and delicious. Definitely recommend the food.
