Johnny's Pizza House - Winnfield

Love it ....got fast servers and when the pizza arrived at our table it was very hot ...right out of the stove hot.....the salad bar was clean an well stocked....... the restaurant it self was clean and everyone was very very friendly.......if youlike pizza. Go to Johnny's pizza house in winnfield just north of wal marts.....you want be disappointed

One of the best Johnny?s I have been too, and I?ve been eating at this franchise since the 80?s. Everything is always hot and fresh. Service is fast and done with a smile. I highly recommend this location.

To make matters worse, there was no silverware available. When I asked for some, the staff responded that they didn't have any clean silverware. They didn't even have plastic forks readily available and had to go look for some. They seemed unprepared and disorganized. Returning to the salad bar while my wife was serving herself, I noticed the lettuce appeared several days old, with brown and gray spots, and the spinach was slimy and wet. It was simply too much for us! I didn't want my family to eat there, so we requested a refund and left. I was really disappointed because we genuinely enjoy going to Johnny's. We've visited the locations in West Monroe and Monroe and were excited to find one in Winfield where we usually go every other Sunday after church. Unfortunately, this visit was a disaster. There seemed to be a lack of leadership or management prioritizing cleanliness—not just for the tables but for the buffet area as well. Even the pizzas were spilling over the plates and touching the hot areas of the pizza bar. While I might consider giving Johnny's another chance, there's truly no excuse for the uncleanliness we encountered. I can only imagine the health risks associated with the mixed lettuce and vegetables—diced eggs mixed with tomatoes and water, chopped ham thrown in with the eggs, etc. It just felt wrong. I sincerely want this place to thrive, but unless management takes significant steps to improve the attitudes of its staff and focus on hygiene, we won't be returning to Johnny's. I hope they take action to fix these issues.

The restaurant is clean and well-maintained. The staff is helpful, though they aren't always very friendly. The food is tasty, and while the prices are a bit on the high side, the overall experience is positive.

Honestly, this place is just a notch above the local Pizza Hut, but I wouldn’t choose it as a dining option. Even their lunch buffet is lacking. If you’re in the mood for a decent lunch and pizza, I’d recommend driving somewhere else.
