Tandoor House - Winnipeg

Do not come to this place for buffet! just don't do it! we went to the buffet today and found out there was nothing. only 5 pieces of chicken and 2 pieces of bark on the meat part. we paid $16.99 and we didn't eat anything. only veggies. we asked them for more than 3 times, but they didn't, and all were in the kitchen. I don't know what went wrong today. it was a dinner buffet. one of my friends didn't even eat a single chicken. there was no Tandoori chicken available. the samosas were stabbed from the day before, so we threw them away. we called the waiter, n told her that samosas were stale, but she remained on deny. the worst place I'm sooo crazy. paid 16,99 dollar plus tax n was starved. I hate myself coming here too. there are many other Indian places when it comes to buffet!

Had the Buffett, meh. The butter chicken isn't even decent. The Nann bread is doughy. The pea, corn, slime was acctualy food. Service is weak, slow, impersonal but also it's kind of nice to be left alone. The fruit plate you get for free is pretty ok. The Indian pasta was edible. The rice was good. The Buffett price is was to high $13.99) for what you get I wouldn't go back. I didn't even want to pay for the food. My total for 2 was $31.64 the guy stood there staring at the money and eventually came to the conclusion the out of $40 my change would be $6.

It was a whole empty area. It was dead I understand the point cause may be it was not the peak time. But it was dead in a sense that someone wouldn't wanna go and sit there to feel more lonely. Apart from that the food wasn't good enough to substitute with loneliness. We ordered 2 things from the menu. One of them was Naan with Shahi paneer they served in a to go tray like the subway stores have for dinning inside. Pretty bad experience.. It wasn't worth it. If you can see in the picture that's how they served the food.

Ordered extra large butter chicken with nann bread and they gave me i cup of rice to go with it ? I normally get a container of rice to go with my butter chicken. When im spending 35$ already and they want me to pay an extra 3.50 for rice? Dont waste your money my hand is biger than the rice i got that should feed 2 people.

Really awful! If I could rate it a zero I would. The buffet looked old, there was hardly any options and when we asked if it would be replenished the waitress didn't answer just walked to the back and never returned. No service. Not poor. No service. We even even had to find our own water. I would highly recommend going elsewhere. Also if you are ordering from Skip the Dishes know your food comes directly off of the very poor quality buffet. It's not fresh.
