Yeh Mon Caribbean - Winston Salem

The food at Yeh Mon is insanely delicious. Might be my favorite food that I've tried since moving to Winston-Salem in 2019. The meats are so juicy and tender, the sauces so complex and tasty. Fantastic comfort food and the portions leave plenty for seconds or tomorrow's meal. I cannot recommend this delightful hole-in-the-wall enough. A mom pop shop, I always order take out. It's not quick because this food has got soul, but worth any wait a thousand times over. Do yourself a flavor and order as much Yeh Mon Caribbean as you can stomach. My faves: the brown stew chicken or brown stew fish, the Escovich, the stewed veggies rice.

Omg i love these ppl!!! We are family now!!! The way to my heart is surely through my stomach!!! I've had the oxtails, the brown stew, the curry goat and chicken, the jerk chicken and the beef patties with cocoa bread. And the lemonade so good. I just know im in a small little piece of Africa, liberia or which ever native country my ppl derived from!!! SO GOOD!!! definitely a taste of the culture. Only thing is ITS HOTTER THAN A SUMMA MA in that damn restaurant. Clean but hot.

I love coming here due to the food being amazing. Hopefully the owner can get more help on staff she seems shorthanded due to the wait. However, the wait is worth it.
