Alma Mexicana - Winston-Salem

Vibrant place, delicious food, friendly service salsa also dance. We went on a Monday night to learn Salsa dance. And it was fun to learn new movements. And the one hour of lessons is free for everyone, then 2 more hours of music and dance. We went early, sat outside, enjoyed THE THREE AMIGOS chips with 3 dips guacamole, salsa quest. Must refill water glasses before our many course. The heat from the salsa was mild, but the heat from the day continued. Great tastes rolled through my mouth and over my buds. Sit inside ADA compatible, and full bar with 10 craft beer on tap.

We went to her Salsa dance night. It was a lot of fun and there were a little people there! Can't wait for the next one! It is a beautiful, cozy environment in a convenient location. Special drinks are $10-$18 and beers are around $7. Not cheap, but definitely worth it.

I always wanted to go to the restaurant Alma Mexicana, but I still have the chance until yesterday evening and it was an absolute pleasure. Not only the food delish and the atmosphere great, but the servers/stand were so pleasant and incredibly helpful!!!! The margaritas were so good (especially the blackberry margarita) and the food was great. We will definitely come back!

Our family had dinner tonight after a performance at Bailey Park. Alex was our waitress and she was great. Laura, the manager, was very accommodating. My mother, Lori, commented how great it was that after sitting Laura remembered her name. Alex was friendly and punctual with any article we ordered. It was a great experience!

I've been to Alma multiple times now and I can honestly say this is the best Mexican spot in Winston. Not only is the atmosphere great, but the staff is so friendly and attentive. The food and drinks always deliver!
