Curry Village - Wollongong

Shows the best curry in the gong. When I looked at the friendly waitress, she said there are new owners and a new cook. orden was tweebbhaji, huhn jalfrezi and a simple naan. everything was well cooked and seasoned. Jalfreze sauce was thick and filled with meat and vegetables.

We had an amazing dinner here to celebrate my son's 18th birthday. It was a weeknight, so it wasn't too crowded. We ordered 4 meat dishes, naan, rice, and yogurt for 5 people. They served poppadoms as soon as we arrived while we waited for our order. The food here is truly delicious. The butter chicken and prawn masala are both excellent dishes. The cream and cheese naan are also delicious with the flavorful sauces. The staff, especially the young girl, took great care of us.

The service at this restaurant was terrible. It felt like our food never arrived! Our drinks were forgotten and our plates were never cleared after each course. One meal came out, but 45 minutes later I still hadn't received mine. When I inquired, I was told to wait five more minutes. After a third reminder, they finally realized they had forgotten my meal. I will not be dining here again.

We have dined at this restaurant multiple times and I must say, the flavors are fantastic! The service and prices are also excellent. Although it is a small establishment, I highly recommend dining here for the delicious food!

By far the best indian in Wollongong, I eat or get takeway from here at least once a fortnight. My favourites are paneer butter masala malai kofta....mmmm yumm! I also love their nann bread vege entree platter. The restaurant is also priced better...than some of their competitors.
