Pizza Al Metro - Woodbridge

The pizza at this restaurant is delicious with a wide variety of options available. I appreciate that you can choose the size of your pizza. However, the service leaves something to be desired. I visited two days in a row and had the same server, who never once smiled and seemed unfriendly. She was curt in her responses and gave off the impression that she wanted customers to leave quickly. It would be helpful to have ingredient lists displayed on the pizzas to avoid having the unenthusiastic server repeat herself to every customer who asks about the toppings.

The pizza at this restaurant is amazing, especially the plain cheese which is delicious. The Nutella dessert pizza is also a standout with a "WoW" factor. We only had pizza and it was fantastic, with a good variety to choose from. The calamari appetizer was very good as well. While the service was lacking, the delicious food more than makes up for it.

Awful, horrible, disgusting. We were there in a large group had a private room in the back. The waiter was rude behind belief! My calemeri was tough. The waiter didn't even ask what was wrong when he took the whole order away. My husband's Caesar salad was not worth the cost. The dressing was only on part of the salad. His pasta dish was supposed to be spicy but was not until he added the hot oil on the table. There should have been more staff to serve our group. The waiter did not deserve the tip that was added to our bill. We had asked for separate bills but he would not do that for our group. We are a group that goes out every 2 weeks and have NEVER had that problem with an establishment before. We would never go back there again. It was expensive disgusting!

I can't comment on the food, because we ended up walking out. Stood at the door for at least 7 minutes (I started a stop watch app when it became apparent we were invisible), we were seated and then left alone. More than five minutes to get a water, and then the cloak of invisibility was again put on us. After 10 minutes with people around us grumbling about their wait, and nobody had come to see us yet we left. It's very VERY loud in there they have those high ceilings with nothing to baffle the noise which means that not only is it loud but you can't hear the person beside you either. I didn't eat, so I'll give the food an average rating but the prices were high compared to other places in Woodbridge.

I had made a reservation and when I arrived I stood there waiting for someone to come and greet me. I waited, finally I think it was a server that came, confirmed that my name was in the book and then asked me to wait. I waited again, he kept looking around for someone but noone paid any attention to him or that I was standing there. The place wasn 't even busy. I finally got a table and the waiter was very nice. My friends arrived and we had a lovely dinner. Unfortunately our waiter left us and we were told that he was busy catering to a stag in the back room. When I got a cup of tea, it was served in a expresso cup with the tea bag in the cup. Another waiter was kind enough to bring me a proper tea pot. They still need to get bigger tea cups. They need to step up their service and maybe hire more staff and definitely a hostess.
