Brown's Corner Grill - Woodland

This is a great bar for food and drinks in the area. I would mainly order the crispy beef tacos here and they are pretty good. My friends have tried the burgers here and they mentioned they are good as well. The drinks can be strong at times and that is a plus. The food and drink prices are reasonable. Customer service can be unpredictable at times since the bartender can be pouring drinks and serving at the same time.

A few coworkers and I decided to go get a drink after work since we've been so beat up from work lately working 7 days a week.. Every day seems the same. We didn't really wanna go somewhere far, so one of them who actually lived in Woodland recommended this place. Woodland is a very small place.. There's about 2 bars around the area and he wanted to go to this one since his cousin worked at the other one. We arrives here around 3PM and I was pretty surprised that there were quite a few other group there. We ended up getting around 5 pitcher of beer and some cocktails which all turned out great. The waitress was really nice and accommodating. The place is pretty nice.. There were 2 pool table an air hockey table. You have to get quarters to use those and pool runs for $1 a game. There was also like a juke box/ music machine where you get to choose what song you want to listen to.. Downside is that you have to pay $0.50 a song. If you're here alone grabbing a drink.. The tv is also on the sports channel to keep you occupy. On to the food.. We ordered an order of beef nachos for $9... Kinda pricy.. It's just okay.. It's passable. My friend said the chicken nachos tasted better.. I'll probably try that next time. The hot wings were definitely good.. And cheap too. We got an order for only $4.. It's probably a special during that time cause the menu said it was $7-8. We also ordered a grilled chicken burger and also a grilled chicken sandwich that all turned out pretty good. I definitely had a good time and would probably come back here again if we decided to go somewhere nearby work to grab a drink again after work before heading home.

Been here before and food was amazing just spent 21.00 dollars on a burger that I took two bites of the meat had completely soaked through both buns by the time I took my first bite. The bacon was under cooked not crispy at all. No offer to fix the mistake at all just was offerd a fork twice horrible experience will not be going back.. I posted what a burger should look like what I'm haveing for dinner in citrus heights at the corner pocket. Those pictures are of a good burger not the garbage mess I was served earlier... I should have taken pics of the mess.

I always get good service here. If you come on a Tuesday they have taco Tuesday and you can get the Impossible tacos which are vegan (get without cheese) and delicious! They have lots of beer on tap and it's a generally chill atmosphere.

I am giving this place 1 star for their performance on 2/22/18. When I typically visit this establishment I go during the day on a weekend when it's busy but service is typically good. Last night went in about 6:30 for dinner. There were a few folks at the bar, but otherwise the place was empty and the kitchen was not busy. Sat at a table in front of bar by window and waited. Bartender (latina female) just stood there and didn't say a word. Never came to our table to drop menus or indicate she would be with us. She wasn't serving anyone at the time. She stood behind the bar looking at us on occasion but otherwise doing nothing. The bearded owner was walking around doing stuff. After 5 minutes of her blatantly ignoring us, we got up and left to Plainfield Station.
