The Village Grind - Wrightwood

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant today. The coffee, which we believe was Ethiopian, was excellent. Our barista, Max, was wonderful. My wife enjoyed a latte that was among the best we've ever had. The cinnamon rolls were delicious. We are looking forward to returning for the wine tasting, as it seems like a fun experience. This is the only coffee shop in Wrightwood, and we will definitely be coming back.

I believe that the Village Grind is the top restaurant in Wrightwood. Although it may not be extravagant or fancy, the atmosphere embodies a charming "old style" coffee house vibe. The restaurant has a fantastic deck, a diverse array of high-quality coffees, quick and friendly service, as well as delicious food at reasonable prices. Additionally, there is a small art gallery, free wi-fi, and plenty of outdoor seating. It is a great spot for families and couples to enjoy a leisurely Sunday outing. I give it five stars!

I may have been influenced by the mountain air and snowy peaks, but I believe I have discovered the best coffee shop in Southern California. They offer organic coffees and milk, fresh scones, and free wireless internet access. The atmosphere, with friendly owners and local art on the walls, is incredibly relaxing. French press coffee is available for every cup, and I was pleasantly surprised by the affordable prices - a scone and coffee for under $4, with the first refill free. There is also a nice deck to enjoy the view of Main Street in Wrightwood. I give this restaurant five stars!

Very cool coffee house in Wrightwood! French pressed some ORGANIC coffee from Central America…had a warmcinnamon roll with just the right amount of icing…sat on the deck…heaven! The service was great…the place is clean…even free w-fi ! I enjoy this style of coffee house—-retro without really trying. A great “get away” from the city. Wonder if all Wrightwood restaurants are like this??

Spent the weekend in Wrightwood and found this really quaint coffee house. I’ve never been to a coffee house with such a great variety of coffee! They’ll french press any of them, and the cinnamon rolls were better than my mom’s! The staff were giving samples of the chicken salad—-I’ll be getting THAT next time! Love the weekend menu! Nice place, nice people, wonderful views and close to the resort. Can’t wait to go back!
