Alte Mainmuhle - Würzburg

In the old mill at the bridge over the Main, the atmosphere is nice; very high ceilings with the old machinery system to operate the mill hanging from the otherwise more upscale modern wood decor, probably a result of a post-WWII destruction rebuild. Nice food;...excellent service; nice wine list. Enjoyed the bone marrow dumpling soup and schauefelle with knodls.

We were on a Uniworld River Cruise and called in for a beer. Quite a cosy place with views of the Main River. Staff were friendly. We did not dine here.

This I a quaint bar and restaurant on the bridge over the Main River. The white wine was dry or semi dry. My wife had the dry and I had the semi dry. Both were delicious. The wine complimented the boiled sausage. The sausage was...boiled in wine and vinegar, so it had a sweet and spicy taste.

Very nice Restaurant with good food (modern local) and friendly staff. The building is historic, in the old watermill, which has been renovated. From the restaurant and nearby bridge, one has a nice view to the Würzburg Residence

This place in on arguably the best location in Würzburg that a restaurant can be. They serve typical local food, which is also delicious.
