For my birthday, I wanted to go with my family and friends in the historic rat cellar of the town of Wunstorf Essen and enjoy the beautiful ambience. We were 10 people and were unfortunately very disappointed. The carving with pipes was not edible. There were 3 small seedlings in the mucus sauce, the carving itself was very brown. There was no mushroom sauce. The Cordon Bleus were raw inside. Only two Rumpsteaks had nothing to do with it. Only two out of ten foods were acceptable. The service was also not very friendly, it was not apologised for complaints. Too bad it could have been a nice evening. I can't recommend the rat cellar. My family, friends and I will not go there anymore. Too bad the cozy rat cellar has no good kitchen.

A great restaurant! There was nothing to complain about. A very varied but not overloaded menu. The service is very friendly and always has a smile on the lips. The food is freshly prepared, well portioned and also very tasty. Also the ambience is stunning an old wall vault, simply great and recommended.
