The Peshwari Naan, Garlic Naan, Plain Naan, and Kashmiri Rice were all very delicious as well. I definitely recommend this restaurant, which is conveniently located near the seafront. A walk after dining here would be the perfect way to end the meal.
This was the worst Indian meal we have ever had. Avoid this place at all costs, they only offer takeout. The Onion Bhajis lacked flavor and the Bombay Beef and Chicken Vindaloo dishes tasted the same, with no cashews in the beef. The Naan bread was soggy and did not seem to be cooked in a traditional Tandoor oven. I usually love Indian food, but this experience was disappointing. My wife and I barely ate any of our food and ended up throwing it away. This was a new low for us.
We had a satisfying meal at this restaurant for around fifty dollars, which ended up lasting us for two dinners in our vacation rental. There were some unique dishes on the menu that stood out from the typical offerings at Indian restaurants, such as the delicious lamb and potato curry and a flavorful vegetable Korma curry that we tried.
We had takeaway due to covid restrictions. Meal was hot with good portions and customer service was efficient. However there was no flavour in our butter chicken which was bright red in color and tasted very sweet. Our lamb korma lacked flavour with no delicious coconut flavour. The garlic naan was dripping with butter. I usually eat the leftovers for lunch but not this time- straight to the bin.
While visiting Yeppoon we had some takeaway of Butter Chicken(mild), Lamb Lorna (mild), Daal (med), Cheese and garlic naan, garlic naan and plain naan. I would have given 5 stars but the Butter Chicken really let it down. It was quite bland and similar tasting to tinned tomato soup, surprising really since the rest if the meals were amazingly flavoursome. Loved the Lamb Korma and Daal, both had really beautiful flavours, even my brother in law who doesn't like Indian loved it. Probably up there with the best I've had and I do like a good curry. Now the Naan bread, well it was delish, I got in trouble for not ordering one each. It is the BEST naan I've ever had. We all loved it. I will definately be returning next time I visit.
