The Exhibition Public House - York

This is such a wonderful place to stay .. very friendly and helpful staff, lovely room with good amenities, beautiful breakfast. Beer garden is also amazing. Well placed right in centre of York with added bonus of parking .. thoroughly recommended

Having stayed here in the past,we found the exi to be just as good as last visit. Nice freshly decorated room,lovely comfy bed.tea coffee tray etc biscuits also bottles of water. Breakfast is good with quality ingredients used all served by very pleasant waitress. Will be back soon.

Limited evening menu on offer.Chill was expensive at £12,50,and wasn't particularly exciting.The beer was very good,service patchy.Some bar staff were pleasant and friendly,others no so much.Didn.t stay here,had meal only

Over the years we have stayed at several so called up market hotels in York. This time we chose the Exhibition for a 3 night stay for my big birthday. Car parking, just outside the beer garden gate, was convenient and free for the duration of our stay. Breakfast, cooked to order, was of a very high standard and served in a very pleasant conservatory. Extra toast no problem. Service very friendly and attentive. The beer garden, walled on both sides with ample seating, is an attractive place to chill out and sample the good variety of beers on offer. Our bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The hotel oozes character and charm with a very friendly atmosphere. Rosa the manager is an absolute gem. Nothing is too much trouble. Her staff go the extra mile. As a consequence our overall experience was extremely positive.

Thank you so much to Rose and her staff for making my Mum and Dad's wedding reception so lovely. We only washed something small and Rose was amazing. We had a truly loveIy day.
