I'm going to be under. I ordered penne al a...Vodka and it was dry. almost no sauce and very hard. owner was very good about it and when they made a new one, it was like night and day. Garlic bread had a funny taste. we were in this restaurant often with good success. after a 250$ shaft for 4 people we take no more chance. about $60 was alcohol. no desserts and appetizers were 2 Caesar salads and an order garlauchbrot. very disappointing overall. music was beautiful.
Overall we cost our meal times here. the service was good, the food was good, I only felt that it was something overpriced for what it was. As soon as the prices begin to crawl over $30 for a main course, I expect a certain quality, and that was not. the lobster and crab ravioli for example is a disappointment, they don't waste their money. the bruschetta was very tasty, and the risotto was nicely cooked, very tasty. only 2 beers on the hahn, the rest are through the bottle. I really think I would be better than just average if the prices just drop a bit. the desserts are very tiny, what would be good if the price $5, but underwhelming on the $10 price mark. the decor is a little dated. it is certainly not a good food, but it was good enough. I would definitely go back, just not very often.
We picked up our dinner last night and everything we had ordered was delicious and hot. we had the rack of lamb, captivating alfredo, pollen al limone and mushroom risotto and it was all fantastic. delicious, well presented and cooked for perfection. will certainly be of. villa risi again!
Last night we organized my son's rehearsals dinner in this restaurant. the restaurant was very flexible as we came too late. they didn't rush us through dinner. I had preordered a set menu for our party of 19. that was so delicious, we were all served at the same time, it was beautifully presented and pissed hot. there was a full of food. I had bought cake for our party. they put the cake on a trolley next to our table, cut and served each of us. it was very well done. the ambiente of this restaurant is beautiful. the manager was very easy to work and the server were perfect. the entire experience was over and about what I expected. many of my guests said they would definitely return to villa risi. good peter and many thanks.
Cute place if you want a decent meal and you didn’t make any previous nye arrangements. Simple yet nice meal consisted of a salad, either tenderloin or stuffed chicken and a small slice of tiramisu with a glass of champagne at midnight all at $75.00...per person. We added a bottle of wine and some coffee. Age was over 55 plus plus. It was fun. Waitress made it fun with her one free vodka shooters to her waiting tables. Doubt any alcohol was in there as she’d be under the table by midnight. But it was a nice touch.
