Nypd Ypsilanti Pizza

Hey this place is a newly owned establishment so all the other reviews don't count except for the one posted a month ago. The guy who owns it now is really making a pretty good pizza pie, probably the best in the area. If you're in the EMU district you have to try this place. I know you'll come back. I'm going down in about another 10 minutes to pick up a large sausage pizza. I've had close to a dozen pizza's under the new ownership and they are really good and you don't need to take a mortgage out as when you order from Dominio's farther up the hill. Besides costing 30 for two lousy large pizza's. I could go on. I think two large pizza's here at NYPD is about 12 or so, less than 15. that's for sure and that's for three times the pizza in taste and quantity, not to mention a great crust.

A friend made a surprise visit from out of town, and it was almost midnight by the time I got out of work and we went on search for food. He wanted pizza and I was down with it. A few of us stumbled into YPD and the dining room was adorable. It was absolutely cozy, a place I could totally see myself slipping into to for some food and late night homework. The guy at the counter was really friendly and helpful, and the pizza was quite good. we all got pizza by the slice. It wasn't too greasy which is something i always looked for and it wasn't over or undercooked. I would definately return. I grabbed a menu. There's definitely more than just pizza to be tried.

This place is one of the best hidden gems in the Ypsi area. Not only is their food great (just a slice of cheese pizza is heaven), but the staff is super friendly and courteous. It's located just off of EMU's campus, and I feel safe there, even after dark. The dining area is always super clean too. I wish that some of the local dining businesses in the Ypsi/Ann Arbor area could pop into NYPD, and see how a proper restaurant should run, and treat their customers. Really wonderful.

I've ordered delivery a couple times with my mom the food is GREAT!!! I love their subs onion rings!! Service workers are very nice as well!! Definatly on my go to list for lunch!

Ordered online x large pizza for pickup... Staff was very helpful and the pizza was excellent. Price was also excellent and will order again.
