I had never experienced a Vegan afternoon tea before, and this one was truly delightful! The tea room was decorated in charming pastel tones, with lovely floral china adorning the tables. Mary has clearly put a lot of effort into creating such a beautiful space. We ordered the tea for one, priced at £15.95, which was surprisingly filling for both of us. Our meal included a scone served with vegan clotted cream, Vitalite vegan butter, and jam, as well as finger sandwiches with fillings like walnut and beetroot, apple and cheese, and cheese and cucumber. The variety of sweet treats was a bit overwhelming, so we opted to share a platter. I highly recommend trying out this vegan afternoon tea if you find yourself in Wales and are either vegan or interested in plant-based dining.
