This Old Town bar is located inside the small Hotel Otter. On warm evenings, the late crowds sitting at the sidewalk tables can be very lively and jovial. During the early evening, it’s a nice spot for a beverage and winding down the day. The interior bar and wooden tables and chairs give the place a very simple surrounding and the padded seating of rustic cowhide is a bit worn, but still very comfortable. The bartender was friendly and the environment in general is a basic. The have a variety of drinks from hot to cold, newspapers, magazines and free, secured Wi-Fi. The restrooms were clean. Opening hours, as stated on the entrance door, are listed as Mon-Thursday 17.00, Fri-Sa 16, Sun-closed. Their website is under construction and has incorrect hours listed.
Cozy and creative atmosphere. Good mulled wine and other things. What we liked most was the extremely creative playlist from Depeche Mode to Natural Born Killers to Infected Mushroom
Bartender here was hilarious. I tried an espresso martini and she came over to my table to ask me if it tasted okay. It was great! We had a night cap here after a busy night checking out the Christmas Markets. It's a bit of a hole in the wall but that's what we were looking for.
My Brazilian girlfriend says: the best caipirinha (Janeiro cachaça she’s had outside of Brazil, one of her favourite ever! And a really good Mai Tai. Strong drinks (yay!
