As a guest of the hotel above, I got a discount...for ordering execution that made it a little more reasonable. I think I would just order food here if it wasn't at my own expense (business trip, etc.).
Delicious food combined with traditional zuercher / Swiss unfriendly service. When I came in with my 3 kids and my wife, the guy asked me if I really want to eat here because I'm 30 minutes late and since I know the table reservation is limited. I also wrote on the reservation that it is my wife's birthday, that was ignored. The service was cold and no special effort or friendly word to the children. No cool place just cool people.
We ordered a few foods to share (we were 5) from the menu and some Israeli wine. The decoration of the place is strange, but lights are dimmed so that you can have an intimate moment with your guests while discussing the decisions of the decorator. We have some good things, but what turned out was above all the trio of hummus and the caramelized eggplants. Our waitress was also friendly and efficient, making our night even smoother.
Rucksack iPad Stolen! On the 13th October 2020 I visited Zurich before returning home to the UK. My friend and l decided to eat in the restaurant. It was a Tuesday and very quiet and we were seated at a nice quiet spot by...the window. We also had my friends dog with us. I sat facing my friend and put my rucksack at the left side of me trapped between my chair and restaurant window. To reconfirm the restaurant was super quiet and maybe one person sat close behind. My friends dog stepped in its bowl of water and split it onto the floor, the staff came over and cleared it. Then a further staff member returned twice wearing a black snood and both times water was split across the floor under our feet. My friend and l were so engrossed in conversation but we didn’t know who the man with the snood was, we just realised that he didn’t say anything nor clear the table and both times he came over more water was spilt beneath our feet. How weird?? When l got upto leave l realised that my rucksack had been taken. I was amazed. The restaurant was quiet, my bag trapped against the window. There was no way my bag could have been taken unless it was linked to multiple water spills at our table to create a distraction. The staff said this happens a lot but more in the bar. Oh so that makes it okay mine has been stolen? In a quiet restaurant? I was in a quiet restaurant with really only staff servicing us both. We checked the security cameras and all cameras point into obscure locations. You see nothing. It’s ridiculous to even have cameras filming they were useless. I lost a great rucksack and probably £2500 of gear including clothes, aftershave and a brand new iPad Pro. Plus had the privilege of paying £150 for the meal. All l can say is, l am upset the camera footage shows me entering with the rucksack but that miraculously my bag was stolen on a Tuesday night in a quiet corner in a quiet restaurant. I lost everything! It’s disappointing, but l suggest the Hotel consider its staffing policy because someone knew where the cameras pointed and in a quiet restaurant how else could my bag have been taken especially when we have a dog under our table with us. What a disappointing visit to the Hotel. Plus l have all my bags clothes and equipment gone. Thanks 25 Hours your hotel cost me alot of money in stolen personal items. [hidden email]
The restaurant in the hotel 25 hours is sufficiently unconventional to radiate an extremely loose atmosphere and enough professional to be perceived as a veritable restaurant. oriental, good combinations and servier forces with good mood. only the simple salat came with barely chewing large broth pieces therefore, and the aggressive intense edifice-dressing read a taste of the crinkled and oriental notes promised in the description not too. hummus dishes were very good, the limonade served in the liter bottle also with mint. after complaining, the very good acting waitress took the court of bill. she shouldn't have done that. chapeau!
