Used earth balance margarine and unsweetened almond milk- makes a delicious vegan sauce! Used much less pepper- after a teaspoon, tried it and went from there
Very nice sauce and easy to makeIt was quite thick even though I took some reviewer's advices and reduced the flour to 1TbspI also thinned it out by adding 1/2 cup of water and 3 tsp.
This recipe was goodAs mentioned by other reviewers, cook the butter and flour together first, then add milkI found that 1 head of garlic only yielded a slight garlic flavor.
