The staff at the restaurant were very polite and the menu was small but delicious. I think it's a hidden gem.

After a full day of climbing Mt. Kaimondake, I visited this small local restaurant. Mt. Kaimondake. This is authentic teppanyaki, with meat grilled on an iron plate over charcoal. It was a unique experience. However, I was quite hungry and waiting for my food to be cooked was a bit disappointing. The beef was really delicious. The owner, a friendly old lady, was also very charming. We tried to chat a bit, but my limited Japanese skills only took us so far.
